Some progress - Formula Indy 1993, it is missing mirrors and I am waiting for tire decals to prepare the tires, however, I made a mistake when I was polishing and had a problem near the nose. I have to think how to fix it quicky. If someons has some parts of this kit and can donate me I will be apreciated.

Here a Beetle that went wrong with paiting, so I needed to start the paintig again, it was made for a contest with friends, but I didn't finish it on time.

I am starting this MotoGP bike, but it is going to be a different livery, later I can show you.

WIP - Ferrari 641/2 - 1990 - Nigel Mansell - 1/20 - Fujimi

The 641 was a developed version of its predecessor, the 1989 Ferrari 640 designed by John Barnard. The updated 641 design was overseen by Steve Nichols, and was powered by a 3.5 litre V12 engine, first with the type 036, and later in San Marino with the updated 037. The car scored 6 wins in the 1990 season (Prost 5 wins, Mansell 1 win) Incorporating the semi-automatic gearbox developed during the previous season, the car was seen to be technically advanced. The aerodynamics were reworked and the chassis given a slightly longer wheelbase than its predecessor. Ferrari's major coup was signing reigning World Champion Alain Prost from McLaren to partner Nigel Mansell. As such, Nichols designed the car with Prost's smooth driving style in mind. A variable inlet trumpet system on the engine was tested throughout the season, but did not become standard equipment.

Prost worked hard on improving the reliability of the gearbox and also worked behind the scenes to bring the whole Ferrari team closer together. Prost's development work helped the 641 chassis to be extremely fast and competitive, and he scored five wins, including a remarkable victory from 13th place on the grid in Mexico, and challenged his nemesis Ayrton Senna for the championship. Although the car occasionally struggled in qualifying, it appeared to have the edge on the McLarens in race trim. However, the famous collision between the two drivers at the Japanese Grand Prix sealed the drivers' championship for Senna and the constructors' championship for McLaren. Prost finished runner-up in the championship and Mansell finished 5th and scored 1 win, including an excellent performance in his last race for Ferrari at Adelaide, where he finished 2nd and almost won that race from Nelson Piquet and his Benetton. It would be another seven years before Ferrari would challenge for either championship again.

This is the Fujimi kit and since the Alain Prost decals were damaged, I decided for Nigel Mansell and it was easy replaced by some extra decals I had from other cars built inthe past.

WIP - Lotus 107B - 1993 - Alex Zanardi

I am working on this one, it is still missing part of painting job, but I hope soon I get finish it. Hard painting to do. All green was painted, all red is decal and part yellow is decal and part was painted. It is very difficult colour scheme, but very nice livery. Decals are from Studio27. Paints were made at home with atumotive finish. The green for castrol  is Tamiya X-28 Green Park.

Everybody knows this one

Kit Tamiya 1/20 - Ferrari 1989, I have already done some of them before, however, someone of the family went home and took mine from the shelf, so there was no other way, had to begin to build another one.

I played with the camera, and even trying to do the best I cant have good photos, by the way, at least I enjoyed composing  photos togheter. Red wasnt good in the pictures and also seems that lost some quality. Patience, at least they are here and this time, no pictures on the Glass Desk.

The building has nothing exceptional than PEs on wheels and on sidepots. The rest is pure invention. Ok, the belts are PEs too but the harness are band aid micropore painted by black.

It is still missing to finish some details and also the wings and helmet. If I cheer myself maybe I take it for the next contest at Campinas - Brazil. if someone is in doubt or any suggestion, just let me know.

Oh yeah, this kit will be closed cowling, basic, because Tamiya made a mistake with V12. How could a V12 be smaller than a V8 in 1/20 scale?
